The Small Business Center participates in several national and international EU-projects that are contextually related to the development of entrepreneurship and the business of SMEs. EU-projects are also an excellent medium for developing new operation models and ways of co-operating in the areas of education, research and the business incubator activity. With the help of the projects the use of development services become possible e.g. for startups while the support funding makes the services cost-effective. Such forms of activity are for example the funding of the Finnish business incubator activity and the training programs for beginning entrepreneurs.
International projects provide various networking opportunities for the Small Business Center and its customers in the EU and the partnership countries, so that the international status and the business potential of Finnish companies and communities can be strengthened.
