The Small Business Center Foundation
Support for the research on entrepreneurship and SMEs
The aim of the foundation of the Small Business Center is to assist research supporting the operations of SMEs to be started up and carried out at the Small Business Center. The foundation was established in 1986 and since then it has given out grants mainly for doctoral thesis and licentiate research that have focused on entrepreneurship and the development questions of SMEs.
The preservation and increasing of the competitiveness of our country require larger and larger investments in SMEs and research related to entrepreneurship today, because it is SMEs that are in a decisive role in the development of our country.
In the promoting of this work the foundation of the Small Business Center wants to be significantly involved. By investing in the strengthening of research resources through the foundation your community will gain visibility in the activity of the Helsinki School of Economics in Mikkeli and also advantages in the service offering of the Small Business Center (for example discounts on the prices of training programs). Donations that are minimum 850 euros and maximum 25 000 euros are deductible in your income taxation.
