The Health and Welfare Institutions Cooperation Network (HEWENET) -project conducted a survey on the competency of health and welfare managers in Estonia and Finland. Based on this knowledge, the project has developed a pilot training programme to ensure management training of a high level for managers of health and social welfare institutions and organizations. The goal of this training programme is to help to identify and develop business opportunities for the health and social welfare organizations in the cross-border region of Tallinn and Helsinki.

In the focus of this training programme and networking events are communication and exchange of experience among the managers of health and social welfare organizations. The training programme is attended to increase the efficiency of management, client friendliness and quality of operations.
